Hello Ms. Garned,
I can not believe I got in touch with you..Time has just flown by. I am 28 years old and enjoying life so far. After graduating from Lindenwold I attended FIT, Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. In the beginning I was a little overwhelmed of the school's population but I got used to it. The people here are sooooooo FUR-ROW-CHOUS, or should I say FIERCE. At FIT I majored in Fashion Merchandising, where I got a chance to have internships with Liz Claiborne, Macy's, and Perry Ellis. Getting involved with a few of these internships helped me interact with so many creative and unique people. With the internships I was also introduced to so many designers, such as Richie Heatherette and Versace. With being a Fashion merchandiser I also had got a chance to visit Florence my sophomore year also having the opportunity to travel around the U.S. Graduating from FIT opened the doors for myself. I have gotten the opportunity to work for Richie Heatherette which was the best experience ever. Although I am writing you all this great stuff I also came through some bricks through my path. Two years ago I found myself stressed about life in general, I was so worked up with work. Work was great but Turquoise had to find herself.so I took a 3month break and just “DID ME”. Mama Shellz always told me “TURQUOISE if your not happy than why continue in what you do”. But as a spiritual woman I had faith in god and in about a month I got myself together. This past year has been a great year for myself. I am now the CEO for Yves Saint Laurent, which is the greatest thing that ever happened to me.Although I have not received any awards in this industry I am now starting my on fashion line, YBWL, meaning “YOU BETTA WORK LADIES, a line that guarantees to boost up a woman’s confidence. Well Ms. Garner my laptop battery is about to die so I guess I email you later.
Love You Lots,
Turuoise Wilson
PS. Education and Training is important, you can never have too much knowledge but you can always have too little.
