Some woman may call it their emergency dress, every woman must have one and every woman looks great in one. The little BLACK DRESS, was a way to let women know that you always have something to wear. Going to church, interview, date and GP(general purposes), the little black dress is the life saver for the phrase, “I don’t have anything to wear”. Fashion designer, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel, was the one who envisioned the little BLACK DRESS. Many think the color BLACK symbolizes mourning or evil. But to Coco Chanel it was sleek, conservative, and sexy. "Luxury must be comfortable, otherwise it is not luxury," Coco Chanel states, whether it is a 600 dollars dress or a 10 dollar dress, the little BLACK DRESS is to be worn to feel and look classy and conservative.

ReplyDelete~ A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous. ~
ReplyDeleteGone are the days of "Who is Coco Chanel?"
I know that Audrey Hepburne helped to popularize the LBD in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's. Don't ask me how or why I know this; I just do. The film came out nearly 50 years ago.
