What a BREAk

Over the spring break I thought about blogging everyday, but that is why I have a journal for. So this blog will have everything that I did over my Spring Break. Thursday, the last day, I went to to see my sponsor, where I spend almost the whole day with her, we went to some stores to price the accessories I have to get for my presentation, after we went to little boutiques just to look at some styles so I can get inspired for my outfits. Overall the day went by peaceful and stress free. Over the break I did many things corresponding to my senior project, for example, I went to prom dress stores to find my prom dress for this years prom, you should have seen me, I was acting like I was a buyer, all my mom was doing was laughing, thinking I was crazy, but hey it was fun and made the day go buy faster. Two of those days I went prom dress shopping, until I found it, and when I said found it, I mean I found IT. The next day I went to go visit my older brother at his house in North Philly, where he took me to a mini fashion/artsy avenue, which was neat, since I am going to Art Institute of Philadelphia. For the next few days I was backed up with preparing for my great-aunt's funeral, which took place in Camden and D.C. So I devoted my time to my mom who was in charge with everything. When everything was over with the funeral I decided to go back on my FASHIONISTA mode again. Being that it was Spring, Shelllz, which is what I sometimes call my mama, decided to have a close in Spring Cleaning, where my brother and I did so much cleaning you would think we was Florence and Jefferey. But to make this Spring cleaning amusing I went into my room and did a little interior design. I looked in my room and changed it around, may I not forget, I'm designing my door, being that I don't have one, but at the end this door is going to be FASHIONISTA out ..YES DARLING...YES!!!! After the whole Spring cleaning was done and over I decided to play with my mom's makeup and create new looks, so I can showcase it on my models faces in my senior project. This break went by slow, since I was doing things that I wanted to do. Saturday early morning my dad was rushed to the hospital, for heart problems, so throughout the whole day I was catering to him until he got better. Now that it is Sunday the last day of Spring Break, I'm glad that I was able to reflect on my Spring Break which was a great way for myself to chill and get some things done.
